I want to begin by praising the Lord for all He has done over the last 60 years at LDBC!

Have you ever stopped to think about the thousands of people we will meet in Heaven one day who will be there as a result of the ministry of this church? In addition to the eternal destinies changed, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is changing lives right now, every day, right here in our own backyard.  We are flooded every week with testimonies of these life changes. We are so blessed!

Next, I want to thank you. Your generosity has been amazing! Since 2014, we have been able to renovate all of the main buildings on our campus except the Coleman Center, which is our newest building. This activity has piqued the interest of our community and is drawing in guests to our services every week. It is obvious that something exciting is happening at 1520 Lavon Drive! These renovations have been an answer to our prayer and could never have happened without your generosity.

But this campus is not a trophy to display; it is a tool for making disciples.  And we have a vision to do even GREATER things for God! To do that, we need to pay down the debt for the facilities we now enjoy. The faster we retire this debt, the faster we can focus our resources on other areas of ministry. So over the next several weeks, we will be asking for your commitment to make this vision a reality. In addition to your weekly support of the operating budget and your Faith Promise commitment to missions, we are asking you to partner with us to pay down the debt so that we can do even GREATER things!

You will be hearing more in the coming days about this GREATER campaign. You will receive invitations to attend our GREATER Sunday on March 28 and multiple other events that you will find mentioned in this newsletter. I am asking you to make every effort possible to be present to learn more about how you can help us accomplish GREATER things for Christ. I hope to see you at each of the events that you find mentioned in the newsletter.

For now, please continue praying for our leadership as we ask the Lord for His guidance to accomplish His mission. We are all His messengers to deliver His message of peace, hope, grace, and mercy. It is an opportunity we do not want to miss. Will you join me in prayer?
